D*D Farms is excited about our new bucks, we're really upgrading our program with these new boys! We have purchased two wonderful new herd sires and can't wait to get out to the shows in 2012 with them. These boys are gorgeous, BIG, heavy-boned, strong young bucks with the best bloodlines and heavy milking dams. We hope to have their ADGA Championships finished by next year, if they follow in their sire's footsteps they'll get a leg each time out. They are naturally healthy goats that stand on very strong feet and legs, plus they have that added bonus of COLOR! These bucks will be bred to all our does this Fall, for early to late April kids in 2012. We only use bucks of the very best bloodlines, conformation, and temperament, as we've learned (the hard way in a couple of instances unfortunately) that they really DO make a big difference in the quality (or not!) of your herd. Just because a buck has recognizable bloodlines or even sought-after bloodlines doesn't necessarily mean that he will reproduce that or even be worthy of being a buck himself. We think we're on the right track now though with all we've learned and gone through in the past couple of years AND with our new purchases! These bucks will do great things for our program, and we are expecting a very nice crop of 2012 kids. The kids will be fabulous animals with a lot of good show and milk lines behind them, and many will be for sale in the Spring of 2012. We are selling some milkers in the Spring after kidding as well, we should have several nice does in milk by April/May of 2012, please send us an e-mail if you're interested in getting on the list for a milker.
