Cinnamon is a very nice young doe that has really started coming into her own this past few
months. She was a late bloomer but she is turning into an exceptional doe after her first
freshening in 2010. She's got a fabulous udder that milks down like a glove, great
conformation and Nubian character, with a wonderful set of legs and feet. Her first kidding
produced one of our two best bucks from 2010, see his pic below along with a pic of
Cinnamon's paternal granddam, Hill's Acres Moulin Rouge.
Cinnamon's sire is a nice buck that was the Sr. Ch. Buck at the Mid-America 3-ring Buck Show
in 2008. She comes from excellent lines for both milk & show, and we are happy to have her.
She'll be tested along with the rest of the herd at the beginning of 2011 for CAE & Johne's,
and is bred for an April 17, 2011 kidding. Since her 2010 kid turned out to be such an
outstanding buck, we've repeated the breeding to Merlin for 2011. First doe will be retained,
but any additional doe kids or buck kids will be available for purchase. Last year's kid was
sold at 2 weeks of age, so if you're interested in a kid, it would be a good idea to reserve one.
