| Here at K Bar Star Performance Horses, we believe in QUALITY, not quantity, and we strive to produce some of the most athletic and well-bred Quarter and Paint performance horses around. We are currently concentrating on breeding quality Cutting and Reining horses in our program, and most of our horses are descended from accomplished veterans of these events. We will be adding some royally bred new mares in the very near future, so please check back with us soon! All of our horses have great minds and excellent temperaments, that is our first rule in selecting our breeding stock. We also select our breeding stock based on quality pedigree and performance conformation, those are other traits that we consider paramount to an exceptional show and all-around horse. We refuse to sacrifice temperament and conformation no matter how well bred an animal is, we will not have a bad one in either of those departments here. No horse is perfect, but we believe that if they are going to qualify as breeding horses, they should look the part and if they are not outstanding in most ways then they had better way out-produce themselves. We have a couple of mares here that are not perfect but to look at their foals you would not know that. We have a few outstanding prospects available each Spring for your consideration, and we will post information on them as they become available.
